Jack Simpson
Jack Simpson co-founded Business Innovation Group in 2003 to help companies transform their innovations, products and ideas into business opportunities by providing commercialization, marketing, sales and customer development services to its client customers based on the specific needs, requirements, and stage of their innovations.
As Managing Director, Jack has over 30 years of senior and executive management experience in sales, service, business development and marketing for startup, small and mid size companies, both privately and publicly owned. In addition, his executive career has included general management positions with complete P&L responsibility for divisions of major national and international public traded companies. His management expertise encompasses building, leading and growing successful worldwide direct and indirect sales, marketing and customer service organizations, as well as revenue generating strategic alliances and business partnerships.
Prior to co-founding Business Innovation Group, Jack established a successful customer development services company entitled “Business Accelerators, Inc”. He has also held Vice President of Sales and Business Development positions in the Telecommunications, Internet, IT Services and Software industries. As a direct result of this experience, Jack has developed an expertise building successful worldwide Sales, Service and Marketing organizations with a proven track record in developing significant revenue generating partnerships. He has successfully launched new companies, products and services, as well as co-authored effective business plans to raise the needed capital to grow companies.
Jack’s general management experience with complete P&L responsibility for divisions of major national and international manufacturing and services companies has enabled him to broaden his management skills by being responsible for building and leading key functional organizations, such as finance, accounting, HR/Administration, and operations.
Jack has always focused his experience and expertise toward his passion of identifying, developing key strategic customer and partner relationships in order to contribute to his client’s specific revenue goals. He believes that “Customers are a Company’s #1 strategic asset” and has focused his entire career in achieving that goal.
Jack is a member of Board of Directors for RI Quonset Development Corporation and member of the Planning Board for the town of East Greenwich RI. He is also a board member and Vice Chairman for TseTse Gallery and the Business Volunteer Advisor for the Arts and Business Council of RI.
Jack is a graduate of LaSalle College in Philadelphia PA with a B.S. degree in Marketing. He resides in East Greenwich RI with wife, daughter and son.
